BGMEA President Rubana Huq supports 10 JAAGO children’s education
A thousand children like Rubana’s are enrolled in JAAGO schools across the country and are seeking everyone’s kind support
BGMEA President and Director of Mohammadi Group, Dr Rubana Huq has been supporting JAAGO Foundation for nine years as a sponsor parent of 10 children.
She is a board member of JAAGO Foundation.
These 10 JAAGO students are intelligent and hardworking, and they love to go to school to learn new things. Although the children’s families support the idea of attending school and getting an education, they are unable to provide this or continue sending their children to school because of their meager incomes.
Many children have to discontinue their education to help their families with chores and engage in income-generating activities. Their dreams of becoming doctors and police officers, helping the sick and the poor, are often forgotten while they struggle with their harsh reality.
Dr Huq believes that a little help from those around us, who are in a position to make a contribution towards their education—these brilliant children with so many dreams—may actually allow them to them out and make better futures for themselves, contributing back to the communities they live in and this is contributed to her decision to support them.
A thousand children like Rubana’s are enrolled in JAAGO schools across the country and are seeking everyone’s kind support. A small monthly contribution of USD 27 (Tk2000) per child can change their lives and pave the path to fulfill their dreams, for a better and brighter future.
One can help the students to flourish and prosper, and be a proud JAAGO sponsor to feel the joy and happiness of sharing.
